With over thirty years’ experience in the hotel industry, Colin Gold is a Hospitality Expert. At every opportunity Colin learned to create positive experiences for both his guests, and especially his fellow team members.

After Graduating from the University of Massachusetts with Bachelor of Science in Hotel, Restaurant and Travel Administration, he went back to his roots, New York City. Colin began his career at the famed Grand Hyatt New York located above Grand Central Station.

Colin spent the early years of his career working with Hyatt Hotels gaining valuable work experience in union environments. He was quickly promoted, and lived in 5 different cities in the next 5 years, before returning to New York City: including; San Francisco, CA; Tulsa, OK; Lake Tahoe, CA; Orange Country, CA;  and San Francisco, CA again.

After arriving back in New York, Colin was again quickly promoted, to a classic luxury hotel, The Stanhope Park Hyatt New York. This is the position that molded the rest of his career and where Colin found his true passions.

At The Stanhope, Colin learned many of the skills that have made him successful at creating positive work environments. In a long term union property, The Stanhope quickly became one of the top service providers throughout all of Hyatt.  By embracing each and every team member and focusing on creating a positive work environment, the entire team flourished and became the service leader throughout the company.

Some years later, looking to leave the bustling metropolis, Colin found a position in Miami with the Trump International Beach Resort. Using his same formula for success, Colin lead this beautiful beach front resort from its infancy. During his tenure, he worked diligently with his team to heighten the guest experience achieving the coveted Mobil/Forbes Four-Star Award. With guest scores reaching 5-star level, Colin looked to share his experience in new and exciting industries.

Colin has shared his passion and expertise with other industries including; residential and commercial property management, as well as the luxury automotive industry. In these cases, these industries were not often associated with providing great customer experiences, but have benefited from making the connections with their customers and raising the customer’s experience to the GOLD LEVEL!

Throughout Colin’s career he can attribute his success to consistently creating positive work environments,valuing his team and ensuring they were part of the process. Colin and his team members have been able to provide memorable customer experiences, which in turn has provided exceptional financial gains for ownership.

Colin has the ability and charisma to bring people together to accomplish a common goal. This passion is what makes Colin a superb leader, trainer, facilitator, mentor and coach.
